Corporate Executives from big firms like MG, Mahindra, ZoomCar are donating their salaries to help their employees.

The coronavirus has left a huge impact on the country’s economy. Many companies are being shut down due to the lack of funds to maintain the firms. However, some of the corporate leaders and startup leaders are coming forward to help society recover a bit. Among them, Mahindra Group Chairman, ZoomCar CEO and Co-Founder, MG Motor India’s Presiden are some.

Anand Mahindra, the Mahindra Group Chairman has decided to donate his full salary in the upcoming months to fight the coronavirus. Anand Mahindra has also asked other businessmen to come forward do their contribution in order to help recover the weak firms in the ecosystem.

ZoomCar CEO and CoFounder, Greg Morgan has pledged that he will be deferring his complete salary until June and all of his VP’s will take a 50% pay deferment. He also said that there will be no pay cuts from his employee’s salary. Also, this will not be a pay cut but just a pay deferment until the situation is under control, he said.

The President and Managing Director of MG India, Mr.Rajeev Chaba will also donate his full salary to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations. This contribution from him is not included in the already announced 2Crore by MG Motors.

Mr.Sanjay Sharma, the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Aye Finance has donated an undisclosed amount to the PM CARES Fund. Along with him, all the employees of Aye Finance have come forward and donated their one month salary to the PM CARES Fund.
