Due to the widespread of coronavirus, the Indian IT giant Tech Mahindra brings 210 employees from the US.
In a special chartered flight, that started from Dallas Fort Worth international airport on July 13, the employees and their families are brought back to India. These employees will land in Hyderabad on July 14

Last week, another IT giant Infosys does the same thing. It brought back 200 of its employees and their families who were stuck in the US. These employees took off at SanFransico and landed in Bengaluru. After that, now Tech Mahindra brings 210 employees from the US.
The CEO of Tech Mahindra says that the company has the idea to introduce special leave plans for employees who tested positive to coronavirus.
Tech Mahindra is facilitating the COVID testing of several third-party vendors like people working in pantry, sanitization, etc. The company also plans to extend the testing facility via Ashwin-Doctor Consultation App to its employees.
The testing devices are approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research. As of now, only 8-10% of the employees are working in offices. The rest are working remotely. Also, in the post-COVID time, the company expects only 25-30% of employees working from offices
